There is a shortage of meat due to people buying in buck before Ramadan. So the high demand for meat is not met. Halal shops have limited to 1kg and prices have raised.

Due to not being able to import anything from the middle east stocks are low. There was a wider range of dates, spices and other flavours you would normally have in Ramadan.

Halaqa is normally a gathering in the mosque where you get to learn more about your religion. A lot of people attended them during Ramadan. The now became webinars that are held by the mosques that you can attend and ask questions.

It a must to read the Quran during Ramadan. But before there wasn’t much time now with the lockdown people are able to focus and give it more time instead of juggling it with there everyday life.

Food Preparations start around 3 hours before iftar. Normally traditional food is served.
